How you can help

We rely on donors and sponsors to ensure that our horses have the best retirement life!

Below, you can read about the horses who are not sponsored today and need your help. You can choose to partially sponsor or provide full sponsorship. Be sure to check with your employer to see if they offer matching programs.

$300 a month is a full sponsorship for that horse, covering their feed and hay. Any amount can make a difference! Sponsorship donations are tax deductible and your donation goes to help provide the very best care.

Isabella

Isa joined the herd in November 2023.

Isa is our first cow! She's a mini and was super skinny when she arrived. We've been learning all about cow nutrition and care, and Isa is learning to trust us. It's a little challenging because she won't eat any hay - no matter what kind. But she grazes a lot.

She's in a pasture between the horse herds, and sometimes Hank gets to go in and hang out with her. She has her own shelter.

We'd love to have someone sponsor Isa! Her sponsorship is $200 a month.

Buster

Buster joined the herd in November 2024.

Buster is a very friendly Pony of the Americas who came to us with RJ. Buster has severe UVitis and is completely blind on his right side, and mostly blind on the left. RJ has been his companion, and they have been together for 13+ years. Buster loves hanging out at the fence with Koni and Raie, and he loves getting cookies from people.

Rexi

Rexi is part draft and not as old as some of our other residents. She joined our herd in March 2023.

Rexi is a little shy and very sweet-natured. She gets along well with the herd and likes people, as long as they don't "sneak up" on her. She is a big horse, thanks to her draft heritage, and she loves treats!

Rexi is partially sponsored. We would love to have someone help sponsor Rexi.

Peso

Peso joined the herd in July 2021.

Peso was a ranch horse and then a personal riding horse. He had some hock and hoof issues, and his owner retired him a number of years ago. We got him injections and some Prevacox, and he's sound today. He's very handsome and doesn't look his age at all! He loves everyone who has cookies, and he loves hanging out with his best friend Raie.
