What does sponsorship look like?
Sponsoring a Horse or donkey
$20 a month provides treats;
$75 a month sponsors supplements and meds;
$200 a month covers all of a horse's feed and hay;
$300 a month is a full sponsorship for that horse.
SPONSORING ISABELLA THE COW
$200 a month is full sponsorship for Isa.
Sponsoring a dog or cat
$10 a month pays for toys and treats and fun;
$20 a month includes heartworm and flea/tick control as well;
$50 a month covers full care for one of the dogs or two cats.
Sponsorship donations are tax deductible and your donation goes to help provide the very best care.

About a third of our horses need shoes to address various medical issues. From barefoot trims to custom shoes, taking care of 80 feet is no joke!

All our horses get top quality hay - whether it's Bermuda, Alfalfa, or Timothy. We go through 80 3-strand bales (120 lbs each) a month. That's $580 a week.

With our focus on seniors, we feed Purina Equine Senior, and we go through about 4.5 bags a day. That's $680 a week.

Love goes a long way, but supplements make a huge difference in seniors. Our dogs eat Acana and Stella & Chewy kibble with Zuke's hip action every meal. That's $245 a month. (You don't want to know how much the horse supplements cost!)

Our horses love the vet (and he loves us). With older horses, most who have special needs, we joke that we keep the lights on at our vet. Think thousands...$$$
It's a no fly zone

We wage war on flies. Fly predators, fly masks, fly spray, feed through Simplify, fly traps, plus we clean all the pastures every day. Fly spray alone is $70 a week.

SPONSORING THROUGH GENERAL DONATIONS
All donations go 100% to the care and feeding of the animals. Donations do not pay any salaries. No one on our Board receives any money from GRS; in fact, our board members donate. Anything you contribute helps our animals, and no amount is too small!

WHO'S SPONSORED NOW?
As of January 2025, 27 of our 32 horses and donkeys are sponsored. All other donations were made to the general fund. We need your help to continue and expand!
