Looking for Homes

Many of the horses that come to us are companion horses.  Companion horses are ones that are no longer rideable.  Pasture pets who can keep your horses company!  When GRS is full, we try to help owners find new homes for their seniors.

Companion horses are hard to place, and senior companions are even harder to place.  Older horses can certainly require some extra love and care, but they are also generally more easy-going.  Most are happy to hang out, get some cookies, let you groom them, and follow you around.  Some can even tote your grandkids around on a lead line.
