Do you have a trail horse you want to board? Is your horse your baby??
We are opening up 2 stalls to boarders to help offset some of the costs of running the nonprofit.
There are 15-20 acres of trails on the property - you can get to them and ride without even opening a gate! Plus we have a nice large paddock with shade trees to ride or exercise your horse.
We have 24 horses today who are senior or permanently injured, and they get the best care possible - your horse would be lovingly watched over.
It is full care, with access to stalls, covered areas, and a large paddock. There is plenty of great grass to hand-graze. I feed high quality grain with alfalfa and coastal. Horses get groomed several times a week and fly-sprayed as necessary.
There is a farrier on site weekly. If your horse is barefoot and will stand nicely for the farrier, we can help you with holding for the farrier.
Our vet is here regularly, and you can line up vet appointments with ours to avoid a farm call charge as well as avoid having to trailer your horse to the vet for scheduled appointments.
Full care is $750 a month, which does not include the actual cost of the farrier or medical costs or supplements.
